Swansea

Discovery Properties is working with the Welsh Development Agency, as land owners, to undertake a £50 million leisure and residential scheme, being an integral part of the £200 million venture to transform the Prince of Wales Dock at SA1, Swansea.

Negotiations are at an advanced stage with a cinema and bowl operator. The scheme will incorporate an 18 storey residential tower, overlooking the bay, which has been pre-sold to the Manhattan Loft Corporation plc.

The scheme is scheduled to start in Summer 2007.

This project will form the heart of a new district for Swansea as a true regeneration project. Encompassed within the development is the creation of significant public realm incorporating walkways and squares to the waterside and linkages to the city centre.

The scheme is being developed in Joint Venture with Bowmer & Kirkland.
